Move Crate Runner to a new Mac

Your license covers one Mac. If the old one still works, open Crate Runner on it, click License, then Deactivate this Mac, and enter your key on the new one. If it does not (lost, dead, sold), free the seat here. Reinstalling on the same Mac, even after erasing it? Just enter your key again; there is no seat to free.

Enter your license key or the email you bought with. We email a one-time link to the address on the license; clicking it frees the seat. The old Mac stops working at its next check-in.

Crate Runner not on the new Mac yet? Download it (needs a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 14 Sonoma or newer).

A license can be moved up to three times in 30 days. Anything beyond that, or a key with no email on file, goes through support@craterunner.app.
